The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is holding a public open house regarding the U.S. Highway 75 (US-75) Corridor Study, which evaluates approximately seven miles of US-75 from just south of Nebraska Highway 370 (N-370) to Interstate 80 (I-80) in Omaha and Bellevue, Nebraska.
NDOT is studying how to improve roadway condition, traffic flow and safety on this stretch of US-75. The study will look at current and future traffic, road and bridge conditions, and potential improvements along US-75 and at interchanges with N-370, Cornhusker Road, Chandler Road, Q Street, L Street and F Street. It also includes early design work and an environmental review that will help identify a recommended alternative and guide future projects for detailed design and construction.
As part of this process, NDOT is seeking public input on the initial alternatives being considered for US75 and its interchanges. This feedback will help the team understand community priorities and shape the alternatives as the study progresses. Please join us:

Both open houses will feature the same information, so feel free to attend the date that best fits your schedule. A video will introduce the study’s purpose, background, schedule and the initial alternatives being considered for US-75 and its interchanges. The open house will allow participants to review materials, ask questions, and share feedback with the team.
Can’t make it? NDOT will have a booth at the Cinco de Mayo Health Fair at South 24th Street & N Street in Omaha on May 16, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., where attendees can learn more about the study, chat with our team and provide comments. NDOT will also host a virtual open house from May 7 to May 22, 2026 at ndot.info/22953.
The public is encouraged to share comments, suggestions and concerns.
