OMAHA, Neb. — Patriotic Productions is inviting individuals, families, veterans groups, businesses, churches, and community organizations to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime patriotic experience as part of the America 250 celebration.
Volunteers are needed to help unfurl and raise what organizers call the World’s Largest American Flag, a massive 250-foot by 505-foot American flag, during a special Memorial Day weekend event in Omaha.
The event will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Memorial Park in Omaha, and will feature a powerful patriotic program designed to honor veterans, remember the fallen, and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
Patriotic Productions, whose mission focuses on honoring veterans, remembering those who gave their lives in service, and promoting traditional American values, says approximately 650 volunteers are needed to help unfurl and raise the enormous flag.
“This is more than just an event—it’s an unforgettable moment of unity, patriotism, and remembrance,” organizers said. “There is nothing quite like the feeling of seeing hundreds of people working together as the first stars are unveiled and remembering all those who have sacrificed to keep our flag flying.”
The evening will also include a spectacular 400-drone light show, creating a patriotic display in the night sky, along with special appearances and entertainment.
People of all ages are welcome to participate, and group involvement is especially encouraged.
