Win Big Prizes! Bellevue Chamber Launches App-Based Chamberopoly Game

The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce & Community is expanding its popular “Bellevueopoly” community-wide engagement game this year with a new app-based format and adding participating businesses in neighboring communities.

Now called “ChamberOpoly,” the game encourages players to visit and engage with local businesses, collect points through the free mobile app, and compete for prizes throughout the summer.

The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce & Community created the original version of the game, launched in 2024, to encourage residents to visit local businesses and increase community engagement through social media. The game also serves as a fundraiser for the chamber.

This year marks the first time businesses from Papillion and Plattsmouth are participating alongside Bellevue businesses.

“We believe it’s okay to go into these other towns and support them,” said Diane Bruce, President of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce & Community. “But we also hope their residents come into Bellevue and support our businesses in town.”

The game currently features over 40 participating businesses.

Participants download the free “Your Opoly” app and visit participating locations to scan unique QR codes. Players collect points by sharing to social media and tagging or checking in at the business, and/or making a purchase or donation (if a nonprofit or Giving Partner). The minimum points per visit is 250, while some businesses offer 500+ points. Bonus points are also available at locations.

Bruce said the app provides businesses with valuable data that was not available during previous paper-based versions of the game.

“Now we can actually tell businesses how many people walked into their store because of Chamberopoly,” she said. “We can also tell them how many times their business was shared on social media.”

The chamber has also partnered with student organizations at Bellevue East High School and Bellevue West High School to help promote the game and encourage younger residents to explore local businesses.

Band and DECA groups at both schools were given unique QR codes tied to their organizations. Points earned through those codes contribute toward cash prizes for participating student groups.

“Our goal is to get Bellevue East and West students out into our community,” Bruce said. “We would love for our young people to get more familiar with our local businesses.”

Players who earn at least 5,000 points qualify for the game’s major prize drawings. Some of this year’s prizes include:

  • 52 weeks of Chick-fil-A Bellevue
  • $300 cash prize
  • $200 cash prize
  • $2,000 travel package
  • Party at The Alley for 24 people
  • “The Works” Full Service Annual Membership from Cornhusker Auto Wash
  • $650 Men’s Bulova Watch
  • Brand New Apple iPad
  • $500 fireworks package from Twisted Thunder
  • $250 Family Fun Package

There is also a Game Completion “Winner-Take-All” prize of a $25 gift card from every participating Chamberopoly business.

The game began last week and runs through July 2. Bruce said more than 300 people had already registered shortly after launch, with organizers hoping participation will grow well beyond previous years.

If you are interested in playing, download the app from either the App Store or the Google Play Store. Search for the app name Your Opoly.
