Bellevue Career Fair & Business Expo to Connect Job Seekers, Students and Military Families With Employers
Eaton Corporation Named Presenting Sponsor for September 24 Event
BELLEVUE, NEB. | The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce will host the 2026 Career Fair & Business Expo on Thursday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lied Activity Center, 2700 Arboretum Drive in Bellevue.
The free event is designed to connect job seekers, career changers, students, military members and their families with employers, businesses, educational institutions and workforce resources from throughout the Omaha metropolitan area.
Eaton Corporation is the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s Career Fair, helping the Bellevue Chamber expand opportunities for individuals looking for their next career while supporting the growth of the region’s workforce.
The Chamber is also partnering with Offutt AFB Family Readiness, making the event an important opportunity for military members, spouses and families who may be looking for employment or exploring new career opportunities.
In addition, the Chamber is partnering with Bellevue Public Schools and has invited other local high schools to make the Career Fair accessible to high school seniors who are beginning to think about life after graduation.
High school seniors interested in attending should speak with their school counselor to learn how they can participate.
More Than a Job Fair
The 2026 Career Fair & Business Expo is designed to be more than a traditional job fair. In addition to employers recruiting for open positions, the Business Expo will give attendees an opportunity to connect with local businesses, community organizations, educational institutions and workforce resources.
Attendees can learn about the companies and organizations that make up the Bellevue and greater Omaha business community, discover career paths they may not have considered, explore educational and training opportunities, and connect with resources that can help them take their next step.
For employers, the event provides an opportunity to introduce their organizations to potential employees and showcase the many career paths available in the region. For attendees, it is a chance to meet the people behind those organizations and learn what opportunities are available.
Whether someone is actively looking for a job, considering a career change, preparing for graduation, transitioning from military service, or simply curious about what is available in the local workforce, the Career Fair & Business Expo offers an opportunity to connect, explore and learn.
Building Bellevue’s Workforce
A strong workforce is essential to a strong community.
As businesses grow, new employers locate in the area and existing employers continue to expand, the need for qualified workers grows as well. At the same time, students, military families, career changers, and residents are looking for opportunities to build meaningful careers close to home.
The Career Fair & Business Expo brings those needs together in one place
“Building our workforce is one of the most important things we can do for the future of Bellevue,” said Diane Bruce, President of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. “We have incredible employers in this area, but having good jobs isn’t enough. We need to make sure people know about those opportunities and that our businesses have access to the talent they need. This event is about making those connections.”
The Career Fair also gives students a chance to explore career options they may not have considered.
For high school seniors, meeting employers before graduation can help them understand the opportunities available right here in the region, whether they are looking for a full-time job, an apprenticeship, a career in the trades, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, education, government, financial services, or another field.
For military families, the Career Fair provides an opportunity to connect with employers who understand the unique needs and experiences of military-connected job seekers.
Employers Representing a Wide Range of Industries
The 2026 Career Fair & Business Expo will feature employers representing a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, education, financial services, manufacturing, government, technology, hospitality, professional services, construction, retail and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet employers who are hiring
- Explore career opportunities in a variety of industries
- Learn about full-time, part-time and entry-level positions
- Connect with hiring managers and recruiters
- Discover career paths they may not have considered
- Learn about educational and workforce resources
- Explore local businesses and organizations
- Bring resumes and be prepared to make connections
Admission for attendees is free and open to the public
“Whether you are a student trying to figure out what comes next, a military spouse looking for a new opportunity, someone ready for a career change, or simply interested in seeing what opportunities are available in our community, we want you there,” Bruce said.
The Bellevue Chamber encourages attendees to bring copies of their resume and come prepared to talk with employers. LinkedIn will be there to help review and improve resumes for the attendees.
