Police Find Two Dead in Bellevue Apartment

On Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, at approximately 11:46 a.m., Bellevue Police Officers responded to an apartment located in the 11900 block of South 35th Street, regarding a check on the well-being of a male resident. A caller stated that the male resident had not been seen or heard from for a few days.

Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation, which led to them making entry into the apartment. Upon entry, officers located an adult male and female, who both had a gunshot wound(s) to the head and were both deceased. The male and female have both been identified as thirty-two (32) year-old, Luis G. Zavala and thirty (30) year-old, Larissa R. Zavala, both of Bellevue.

This incident is still under investigation, and no further details will be released at this time. As of now, it is believed that this is an isolated incident and there are no safety concerns to the public.
