Jordan Points was born and raised in Bellevue. He’s spent most of his life in Bellevue. So, when it came time to decide on a location for his new retail store, The 3D Print Stop, there was really no decision to make. It was always going to be Bellevue.

Points’ retail store sells 3D printers, filament, supplies, and various 3D creations. Points will also be offering 3D printer repair services, and if you need something 3D printed, they can do that as well. He describes it as “A One Stop Shop for your 3D Printing needs in the Omaha-Metro”.

As part of the Grand Opening, The 3D Print Stop is giving away a free Elegoo Centauri Carbon 3D Printer. There are two ways to enter. They have an entry form available at this link: https://the3dprintstop.com/pages/giveaway. However, if you visit the store on Saturday during the Grand Opening, you can fill out a second entry form, giving you two chances to win.

Points is also offering a “Filament of the Month Membership”. For $25 a month, members receive one free random roll of filament a month. He said he’s working on securing exclusives from filament companies, including those with glow-in-the-dark and color-changing capabilities. Additionally, members will receive Amazon pricing on all other filaments.

Over the past decade, 3D printing has experienced a remarkable surge in popularity across the United States, evolving from a niche hobby into a mainstream technology with wide-ranging applications. Once primarily used by engineers and designers for rapid prototyping, 3D printing is now embraced by industries ranging from healthcare and automotive to fashion and education. Affordable desktop printers have made it accessible to hobbyists and small businesses, while advances in materials and printing speed have enabled manufacturers to produce complex, customized products more efficiently than ever before. This rise is fueled by a growing maker culture, increased demand for personalized goods, and innovations that continue to push the boundaries of what can be created layer by layer. As awareness and accessibility expand, 3D printing is poised to play an even greater role in shaping the future of American manufacturing and creativity.

Points says over the next five years he hopes to grow his business, “I would love to see us having three to five locations across the Omaha area.”

The 3D Print Stop is located at 3503 Samson Way, Suite 115 (right next to Kaiyo Sushi). They will have their Grand Opening this Saturday, August 30th at 10am. After that, the regular days and hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 3pm-7pm, and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.

You can find out more about The 3D Print Stop at their website the3dprintstop.com. If you have other questions, eMail the store at the3dprintstop@gmail.com.
