Fireworks Sales Begin Next Week in Bellevue
The City of Bellevue announced that 2024 firework sales will begin next Tuesday, June 25 and run until the 4th of July. The Bellevue Police Department, the Bellevue Fire Department, and the City of Bellevue strongly encourage all residents to be safe and respectful of their neighbors and pets during this season.
The Bellevue City Code allows for fireworks approved by the State of Nebraska to be sold and set off June 25th through July 3rd only between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm and on July 4th from 8:00am to midnight.
Any debris caused by the discharge of fireworks must be properly disposed of by the user.
If you have a noise complaint about fireworks, please use Sarpy County’s non-emergency number: 402-593-4111. Calling 911 for non-emergency reasons could delay an emergency call from getting through.
If you are going to purchase fireworks that are legal to discharge in Bellevue, please consider supporting groups and organizations right here in Bellevue.
