Chamber Brings BellevueOpoly to Town with Opportunity to Win Big Prizes

Bellevue, Neb. – The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce & Community will launch a new event called BellevueOpoly on April 23, 2024.

BellevueOpoly is a game the Chamber created to invite the people in our community to get to know some of our local businesses, have some fun and possibly win a great prize along the way. The more places they visit, the more points they will get and can be entered into various drawings.

Players will collect stamps when they 1) share a selfie, shoutout or video to Facebook and tag the applicable business or nonprofit in their post or 2) when they make a purchase or donate an item (for Community Chest and Giving Spot spaces). They can collect a bonus stamp if they complete both actions at the same time. The more stamps they get, the more points they will get.

We have included both for profit and Non-profit organizations throughout Bellevue to have places on the BellevueOpoly Board. The Chance spaces on the board are where players will draw a card for possible prize (you may win big or you may not win at all), the Giving Spot spaces where players will donate a new item that the partnering nonprofit needs, and the Community Chest spaces where players can make a monetary or in-kind donation.

Our members have donated great prizes in hopes to incentivize the community to come out and have some fun and learn more about the businesses in the area. Players don’t have to complete the whole board to have a chance to win, but you have to make sure you earn the minimum number of points to be in the drawings.

Current prizes include:

  • A travel package provided by Bellevue Travel, Courtyard by Marriott Bellevue, and Holland Basham Architects
  • ‘Of the Month’ package (two-tier 8” cake of the month from Cake Expressions, dip of the month from Dip Cravers, a bouquet a month from Purple Orchid, a massage a month from Hoogeveen Chiropractic, and a shampoo a month from Live Your Best Life Salon)
  • Chick-fil-A for a Year provided by Chick-fil-A Bellevue

Sarah Dighans, Director of Community Engagement at the chamber, said, “We are incredibly excited about BellevueOpoly! Our BellevueOpoly Participating Businesses, Nonprofits and Sponsors have enthusiastically jumped into this new event. We can’t wait for our community at large to play this game. There are so many wonderful businesses and nonprofits in our own backyard that love Bellevue and can’t wait to welcome players with open arms.”
