Voting for the annual Best of Bellevue, Nebraska event begins today. It marks the sixth year for Best of Bellevue in its current format. The event is coordinated each year by the Bellevue Times.
A few new categories have been added in 2023 including Best Used Car Dealer, Best Optometrist, and Best Steak. Participants may vote once per day, per device and, maybe best of all, there is no registration required and people only need to vote in the categories they want to.
The most prestigious award presented each year is the Spirit of Bellevue Award. The Spirit of Bellevue is presented to two businesses each year. One spirit award is known as the ‘People’s Choice Award‘ as it is based on a write-in vote of the people. The other award is known as the ‘Judge’s Award‘ and it is decided by a diverse assortment of individuals who live and/or work in the Bellevue community.
All businesses and nonprofit groups in Bellevue are eligible for the Spirit of Bellevue Award – unless they are a previous recipient. Past winners include: Achieve Physical Therapy, B&B Grill & Arcade, Cake Expressions, Chick-fil-A Bellevue, Cornhusker Auto Wash, Dan’s Custom Sawmill, DJ’s Dugout, Erwin’s Jewelers, Solutions Heating & Air, and Stella’s.
Best of Bellevue 2023 voting runs through the end of the month. Winners will be announced in the fall. Voting daily is a great way you can help to support all of your favorite local businesses.
