— Free community event invites attendees to participate in cosplay, trivia, crafts, and more
Bellevue University will host its third annual Library Comic Con on Saturday, May 17, from 1-4 p.m., at the John B. Muller Administrative Services Building on the University’s main campus (812 Bruin Blvd., Bellevue, Nebraska 68005).
The event, organized by Jessica Omer and Allison Schafer, is open to the public and free to attend. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and take part in the scheduled activities.
“The Bellevue University Library Comic Con has grown into a great tradition for Bellevue University, and we’re excited to welcome even more people this year,” said Jessica Omer, event co-organizer. “It’s an opportunity for students, families, and the community to come together, have fun, and connect over the things they love.”

The event will also feature appearances by fan-favorite groups, including Ghostbusters of Nebraska, Star Wars 501st Legion and Bellevue University’s mascot Brutus. Guests will be available for photos and meet-and-greets throughout the afternoon.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance to secure priority entry. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows.
The event is completely free, but participants should review the Library Comic Con rules and regulations, available for download on the event website.
