Brian Koontz, Bellevue Fire Department

Brian spent over 20 years as a Firefighter/EMT with the Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department and the Bellevue Fire Department. Brian served in roles as a firefighter, EMT, Driver Engineer, and Fire Officer. Brian stepped down from firefighting in 2021 and was hired to become the Departments Public Education/Fire Prevention Officer. Brian is retired from the Air Force, and also works for Air Methods Corporation, which is the largest Air Medical Company in the United States. Brian loved being a firefighter, but also loves speaking to and teaching the public about fire safety.
