Allen K. Holley CMSgt USAF (Ret): November 2, 1932 – December 17, 2025
Allen was born in Carroll, Iowa to Kenneth and Catharine Holley. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary. He is survived by his daughters Geri Dooling (Mike) of LaVista, NE, Joni Baker (Greg) of Heath, TX, and son David (LeeAnn) of Silver City, IA.
Allen served in the U. S. Army and Air Force for 24 years, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. Upon retiring, he returned to UNO, earning a second degree in Education and becoming a classroom teacher in the Bellevue Public Schools for the next 20 years. Allen served on the Bellevue Cemetery Committee for 10 years and as an usher at St. Mary’s of Bellevue Catholic Church for 40 years.
Allen is survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Diane Fay of Carroll, IA; sister-in-law Marci Rettenmaier of Kansas City, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday, December 26, 2025, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. with Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel.
