So what is it?
ChatGPT is a language model developed by the company OpenAI. ChatGPT is an artificial Intelligence-powered chatbot designed to simulate human conversation and answer various questions on a wide range of topics. ChatGPT uses machine learning algorithms to analyze and understand natural language and provide helpful responses.
However, it is still learning. And while ChatGPT can provide some pretty interesting information, a lot of what we have asked it – mainly regarding local and state information – has contained many inaccuracies. Having said that, sometimes ChatGPT’s answers are amusing, and so begins a short series of columns featuring ChatGPTs answers to our questions.
This week we asked ChatGPT: “What are popular places to dine at in Bellevue, Nebraska?”. Below is the response that the chatbot gave us. Please note that four out of the five restaurants do not exist – at least not in Bellevue and several of the addresses are false as well. So please don’t drive around Bellevue trying to find 902 East Fort Crook Road S or a restaurant called The Greatful Bread – you will be searching for a long time.
