These were just a few of the stories happening this month in Bellevue, Nebraska – 30 years, 40 years, and 50 years ago. Editor’s Note: For August 1984 we originally published a story about construction finishing on Leonard Lawrence Elementary school, but that was an error. The school opened in 1984. We replaced this errant bit of history with a story from 40 years ago about a search for a missing python.
