December 11, 2023 – Bellevue, Neb.
From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on December 11th, local families will participate in Bellevue Police and Fire Department’s Holiday Heroes “Shop With a Cop” Program and will be meeting officers and firefighters to go shopping for Christmas gifts. Officers and firefighters will be volunteering their time to help make this experience extra special for the children and their families involved.
Thanks to the wonderful businesses and citizens of Bellevue, we have been able to maintain the number of families we helped over the last couple of years. We will spend $100 per child, elementary age and younger. They must spend $50 on clothing or shoes, or items that they need and the other $50 goes toward toys, electronics or items that they want.
