Press Release from Sarpy County
Residents are invited to a public meeting on November 7 to learn more about the future intersection improvements at 48th Street and Capehart Road in southeast Sarpy County.
The project will widen the existing Capehart Road to a four-lane divided urban roadway at the intersection of 48th Street. 48th will also be widened to provide a left and right-turn lane. The existing stop-controlled intersection will be removed, and a new signalized intersection will be built with the project.
The open house-style public meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 inside the St. James United Methodist Church at 4343 Capehart Road in Bellevue.
ROW/Easement Acquisitions are being worked on now, and construction is expected to begin in Spring 2025.
