As we say our hopeful ‘good-byes’ to the snow and ‘hello’ to the fresh spring air, we are
reminded that this is a time for growth, new beginnings, and positivity. In the spirit of spring, we
encourage those wanting to donate to consider bringing seed packets and fresh/frozen produce.
Nothing beats the joy that comes from watching your own seeds begin to grow. Not sure what
items to bring? Has your green thumb seen better days? Not to worry, we encourage garden
essentials as well. Items such as small pots or planters, garden gloves, and small shoves or
spades are appreciated as well.

“We are grateful to the community for this important support,” said Pantry Manager, Deanna
Wagner. “We appreciate every opportunity to provide guests with nutritious food options.
Research tells us that whether frozen, canned, or fresh, the most important takeaway is simply
to eat fruit and vegetables, however they are prepared.”
All donations are appreciated and can be accepted Monday – Thursday from 9AM – 4PM (or by
appointment if needed by calling: 402-292-2961). The Bellevue Food Pantry is at 1912 Hancock
Street in Bellevue.

Currently, the Bellevue Food Pantry serves approximately 800 individuals each month – both
in-person and through food delivery services. Keeping our pantry stocked and running
smoothly is no easy feat. We cannot do this work alone and are beyond thankful for those who
invest their time and treasure to the pantry.

To be eligible for services at the Bellevue Food Pantry, guests must be a resident of Sarpy
County, show a photo ID, and complete a simple one-page information form on their first visit,
then just a photo ID for subsequent visits.

Hours of operation are Monday, 9AM-4PM, Tuesday 9AM-4PM, Wednesday 9AM-6PM, and
Thursday 9AM-4PM.
