It might surprise you, But yes! The Bellevue Public Library has DVDs! And you can check out 10 DVDs at a time! Per card. The checkout period is 7 days with a 4-day grace period. Most times you can renew DVDs unless there is a hold on the item.
We have new releases on display at the library. This is where you will find our latest DVDs that have come to us. In this area you will find new movies and new TV shows. We also spotlight our new donations in this area too.
We have Children’s TV shows on DVD and even Manga DVD series, which you can find in the young adult area. We have many Marvel series as well as Star Wars and Star Trek, too. We have lots for our Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fans. We also have classic horror, science fiction, and western movies on our shelves. There are musicals, rom-coms, and a lot to choose from in our nonfiction area. We have DVDs of war stories, histories, animals, football, funny comedians, and even workouts for yoga to kettle bells. Thanks to many donations from our patrons, our collection keeps growing.
Something relatively new at the library are our movie Binge Boxes for so many occasions. Perhaps you need something for a family night or a sleepover. We also have chick flicks and action movies, too. You can find these near the music CD area at the library. Each Binge Box contains 10 movies related to a special theme.
Please don’t forget about TV series. We have many to choose from, from British mysteries to comedies. There are TV dramas like Yellowstone or favorites like Supernatural and Gilmore Girls. We do have a variety of titles. You can even find classics like The Carol Burnett Show and The Andy Griffith Show.
Many libraries in our area are fading away their CDs, but the Bellevue Public Library still has a collection. We have music ranging from classical to classic rock. You can find jazz, spiritual, and Christian music. We also have country and popular artists. And, we do have a selection of instrumental music and show tunes. Patrons can check out CDs for three weeks and usually they are renewable.
