When Lansky’s closed its Bellevue location in Twin Creek, many hoped that another restaurant would move into the spot. They didn’t have to wait long as new-to-Bellevue restaurant Moran’s Grill is now open for business.
Moran’s initially opened in downtown Papillion a couple of years ago and quickly became a favorite destination of ‘foodies’ from all over the Omaha-Metro. Moving to Bellevue was a natural progression for the business. “I just loved this place! I loved the size. We wanted to go bigger and expand, and this was the perfect place to do it,” said Moran’s Grill co-owner Andrea Moran.
Moran left her career in healthcare a few years ago to start Moran’s Grill with her family. Moran’s father, Steven Kranau, is part owner, and many of her family are also part of the team. “They are either part of our family, or they become family,” Moran said. “Everyone that has been with us has been with us for a long time.”
So, what does Moran’s Grill serve? “Just about everything except for Chinese food,” laughed Moran.
Looking over their newly revamped menu, which can be found at the end of this article, Moran’s Grill offers steak, burgers, wings, pizza, pasta, calzones, Phillies, sandwiches, tacos, nachos, salads, wraps, and more. Moran mentioned that they are probably best known for their wings (traditional, charred, or double-dipped) and fried tacos. They eventually will be adding adult beverages to their menu.
While speaking about the menu, Moran was asked if there was an item or two that she thought might be a big hit but needed a little more love. “Our Phillies,” Moran said. “I like adding cream cheese to them. We’ve now added that as an option on our new menus.”
Moran also thinks that their pizza will be a big hit. They use freshly baked dough and top their pizzas with premium pizza cheese known as Bacio Mozzarella.
Moran’s Grill will also feature a salad bar – nothing too extravagant, but they will still have many of the essential items where customers can build their own salad.
One of Moran’s favorite features of the new location is the party room. The room seats up to 75 people, and they are currently taking reservations. The party room has a wall sectional, dividing it into two rooms if needed. Moran mentioned, “This room will be dedicated to sports on many Saturdays and Sundays. The nice thing is fans can be in here hollering and cheering for their teams, and we can have the doors closed so it won’t affect people in the main dining room.”
Moran’s Grill is located in the Twin Creek Plaza, near 36th Street and Highway 370. The street address is 3909 Twin Creek Drive. They are open seven days a week from 11 am – 10 pm. Take-out orders can be made by calling (402) 677-1142. For more information, you can check their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MoransGrill or Instagram page at @moransgrill.
