Updated List of Vendors Included

The annual Lied Activity Center Spring Craft Fair is set for Saturday, March 11th. Beginning in the fall of 2016, the craft fair has grown every year and now has over 160 booths filled – which is their largest spring fair ever!

Event planner Christina Gesser estimated that around one-third of the vendors are new to the LAC Craft Fair this year. “We had 85 booths that first craft fair and now we have nearly doubled the amount of vendors,” Gesser said. “This is only the second fair I have organized for the BPS Lied Activity Center, but I have learned a lot in that short time, especially that organization and communication are the key to success.  I have also been amazed by the extraordinary talent in our community.”

The Lied Activity Center 2023 Spring Craft Fair is on Saturday, March 11 from 9am-3pm. The Lied Activity Center is located at 2700 Arboretum Drive on the Bellevue Public Schools campus, near Fort Crook Road and Highway 370.

The LAC Spring Craft Fair will be offering a wide variety of items including jewelry, home decor, boutique clothing, sewn, crocheted, and knitted items, paintings, drawings, art, garden decor, cards, journals, holiday decor, health & wellness, candles & wax warmers, pet accessories, and food, snacks, and desserts.

They currently have four hot food vendors offering Mexican food, BBQ, vegan, and mini donuts. Other vendors will be offering snacks, desserts, fresh coffee, and teas.

It is a good idea to come prepared, with multiple ways to pay for purchases. While some vendors accept debit and credit cards, some are cash only and there is no ATM available at the event. Each vendor is given the flexibility to decide what types of payments they will accept.

Upwards of 1,500 people usually attend the event and Gesser received a lot of positive feedback from the community. “I have heard that people love to attend our fair because of the variety of vendors and that the addition of hot food has been great. They love being able to grab a bite to eat and shop all at once, “said Gesser

Looking to the future Gesser discussed ways of expanding, “I’d love to add more vendors in the future, but as of now, we don’t have the room. That’s going to take some creative thinking! I’d also love to try a two-day event!”
