The annual Lied Activity Center Fall Craft Fair is set for this Saturday, October 12th, from 9am-3pm. The craft fair has grown each year for the past 8 years and is the largest craft fair in Sarpy County. Craft fair organizers have made a huge leap this year, expanding the event space to include vendors on the upper track above the craft fair – allowing for an extra 50 vendors and more than 200 vendor spaces in all! Some of the new vendor offerings will include permanent jewelry, hat bars, custom knives, memory bears, and hand-woven rugs.
Event planner Christina Gesser said the event has grown tremendously over the years, more than doubling in size. Gesser mentioned that expanding the vendor area to the track above the fair had always been talked about and it was time to take action.
The Lied Activity Center is located at 2700 Arboretum Drive on the Bellevue Public Schools campus, near Fort Crook Road and Highway 370.
As always, the LAC Fall Craft Fair will offer a wide variety of items, including sewn/crocheted items, home decor, boutique clothing, pet items, wood art, photography, wax melts/candles, leather, jewelry, kids’ items, 3D-printed items, and vendors offering a variety of crafts. Food and snacks will also be available for purchase, including BBQ, Mexican, Thai, mini donuts, and shrimp and grits.
Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for K-12 students. There is no charge for kids 4 years old and younger. Tickets are sold at the door, with all proceeds supporting the LAC Scholarship Fund. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. There is not an ATM on site, so come prepared.
