Happy Buddhas Restaurant Sets Revised Opening Date

People excited for the highly anticipated opening of Bellevue’s newest restaurant, Happy Budda’s Asian Cuisine, will have to wait a bit. Due to unexpected construction issues, the opening originally scheduled for September will now be mid-to-late October.

Happy Buddha’s Asian Cuisine is the vision of owners Jacob Betsworth and former Golden Bowl co-owner John Stevens. Stevens sold his share of Golden Bowl in June.

Happy Buddha’s is located at 3608 Twin Creek Drive, near Amy’s Hallmark Store. Betsworth and Stevens moved into the bay a couple of months back and have been hard at work renovating the space to match their vision. The bay was most recently a short-lived Frank’s Pizza expansion and was a Sam & Louie’s Pizzeria for many years before that.
