October 31, 2022 – Bellevue, NE

The closed former Leopard Lanes Bowling Center located at 601 Chateau Drive in Bellevue has been purchased by a local area businessman and will re-open after renovations, which will begin immediately.

Steve Kucirek – Omaha native, US Navy Veteran, and local Bellevue businessman has purchased the building and property where the former Leopard Lanes operated – just east of Fort Crook Road and Harvell Drive in Bellevue. The former Leopard Lanes closed to the public in 2020.

Kucirek plans to re-brand and renovate the former bowling center to create a new entertainment destination anchored by new modern bowling facilities for the Bellevue and Sarpy County area. The facility will include 22 traditional bowling lanes for leagues, tournaments, and open bowling. However, the facility will also feature a separate 8 lane “private bowling suite” for special events, groups, corporate meetings, or parties.

“Our private bowling suite area will be the cornerstone for our new facility and will be available for a wide variety of functions – from corporate gatherings to birthdays and large events. The look, décor, and vibe of the suite will include upgraded furniture amenities, upgraded bowling technology and games, its own private entrance and exit, private bathrooms, and a full food & beverage catering service. It will truly be the only offering of its kind in the Omaha metro area,” Kucirek said.

Along with bowling, the 32,000 square foot entertainment center will include a large family-style game arcade along with a “new to Bellevue” restaurant and lounge concept that will provide excellent offerings beyond what some
might call “standard bowling alley food”. Kucirek indicated that he is actively negotiating this arrangement and hopes to reveal the restaurant and menu soon.

Also being planned is an indoor axe-throwing area, and plenty of meeting rooms/private party spaces with audio/video capabilities – making the yet-to-be-named facility a complete destination for all ages or groups looking for a local place to have fun, eat, entertain, host a party, or just gather.

“We are truly excited to bring back affordable family entertainment to the community of Bellevue. We can’t wait to reveal our full plans and product offerings to the public. Most importantly, we look forward to the honor of serving our friends and neighbors in Bellevue,” Kucirek said. “We just need to settle on a name – that’s been the hardest part!”

Kucirek suggested that renovations will start immediately and is hoping for a quick turnaround – with plans to open by February/March of 2023.
