Green Bellevue – OPPD Update at Bellevue University

Please join the Green Bellevue hosted meeting on Sunday, Sept 8 from 1:30pm – 3pm for an update from OPPD’s Sustainability Program Manager, Bridget Slavin. Bridget will be presenting an overview of OPPD’s business unit on Sustainability that was created in 2023. She will share about Greener Together, a program that connects community members and supports green initiatives, as well as some of the initiatives they plan to implement across their facilities.

In her role, Bridget supports the development and implementation of OPPD’s sustainability strategy by developing strategic initiatives in support of specific carbon and cost/avoidance goals. Before moving into her current role in 2023, Bridget was a Sustainability Manager for Valmont Industries. Bridget holds a bachelors in Sustainable Energy Technology and Business Administration from Creighton University. She is also a resident of Bellevue.

Green Bellevue meetings are free and casual, we’ll update on upcoming events and ways to get engaged with our work.
