Bellevue University’s Cyber League team received national recognition for their performance in the National Cyber League (NCL) Fall 2024 Competition.
The NCL is a cybersecurity skills competition that simulates real-world scenarios, challenging participants to solve cyber threats in a secure environment. Participants engage in activities such as identifying hackers through forensic data analysis, conducting penetration testing on websites, recovering from ransomware attacks, and more.
Under the guidance of Coach Doug Rausch, the Maenner Endowed Chair and Associate Professor, Bellevue University students participated in individual and team-based events. Their performance earned them a national ranking of #56 in the Cyber Power Rankings, competing against more than 9,260 students from 550 colleges and universities.
