As we get closer to the end of Bellevue Recreation Summer Activities, the Recreation Department would like to thank all the coaches, parents, players, and employees for their hard work and dedication. Each summer brings different challenges; however, with each person that has participated, volunteered, and worked for the City of Bellevue Recreation Department we have overcome these challenges. The City of Bellevue Recreation Department continues to strive to provide a safe and fun environment in all of our activities.

Fall Flag Football
Practices and games will be held on Saturday mornings at Baldwin Field starting Aug. 26th continuing through Sept. 30th. No practices or games on Labor Day Weekend! Practices and games will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Baldwin Field is located at Ludwig Dr. across the street from Family Fare. This league is for Boys and Girls in 2nd – 6th grade. The main objectives are to teach football fundamentals, stress good sportsmanship, and to Have Fun!

Community Fishing Event
The City of Bellevue is excited to be chosen once again for the Community Fishing and Bowing Night, which is sponsored by Nebraska Game and Parks. This event will be held at American Heroes Park Lake on Tuesday, July 25th, 6pm to 8pm. This is a free event where individuals of all ages can enjoy fishing. Free instruction and loaner equipment such as rods, reels, bows, and bait will be available to all participants.
