As part of its ongoing mission to foster community engagement and lifelong learning, Bellevue Public Library is excited to announce its upcoming Adult Library Program, set to kick off on April 1. This year’s theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” The program is specifically tailored to adults and is an excellent opportunity for individuals to explore their interests, learn new skills, and forge meaningful connections.
The program promises an array of enriching events, all free and open to the public, offering something for everyone. Whether you wish to hone your floral arranging skills, enjoy a string ensemble performance, or master the art of fishing, this program has the perfect opportunity for you.
Registration for the program opens Friday, March 29, and interested individuals are encouraged to sign up in person at the library. The first 50 registrants will have the opportunity to choose between a complimentary tote bag or a journal, while supplies last. All registrants can be entered in a drawing to win an enameled cast iron Dutch oven.
Participants in the program will not only have access to a diverse range of events, but also have the chance to win exciting prizes through grand prize drawings. Gift cards, a beautifully crafted quilt, and an exclusive Alex Kava accessory set are among the coveted rewards available. Entry into these drawings can be earned by attending events or through reading.
From informative sessions on the night sky to lively rounds of bunco, the program lineup is designed to cater to various interests and preferences. Additionally, many events will feature door prizes or take-home items. The program runs for six weeks, concluding May 12.
