Cake Expressions has moved to a new location at 3503 Samson Way, Suite #100 – right off of 36th and Highway 370. As they settle into the new space, they will soon be adding some morning grab-and-go items while you are on your way to work or after you drop the kids off at school including pastries, cinnamon rolls, and turnovers. They have a new Coffee Bar up and running right now. They will be having an Open House on Thursday, June 1 from 3pm-6pm, with a ribbon-cutting around 4pm. They also plan to start offering Cake and Cookie Decorating Classes in the Fall. Cake Expressions is currently hiring for several positions. Bellevue Pet Adventures has finished brand-new daycare areas that are now ready for use. They installed solid wall fencing along with rubber floors inside and they installed new outdoor areas that have artificial turf for the dogs to play on. They are also celebrating their 10-year anniversary this October as well and will soon be posting more information on some events they have planned to celebrate their special milestone.
The Wandering Escape is Bellevue’s newest entertainment option and a pretty unique one at that. The Wandering Espace is a traveling, mobile Escape Room that comes to your home or business to provide the Escape Room experience for your family, friends, employees, customers, or clients. The Wandering Escape is owned and operated by two Bellevue East Alumni. Their signature escape room is called Mad Man’s Lair – it is housed inside a 35-foot fifth wheel. Remedy Health has been in Bellevue for 10 years and is adding another location in Omaha. They are now offering a new online, 6-month health coaching program – which is covered by insurance. They are also adding 5 new mental health practitioners to assist the community better. Remedy Health has 3 primary care providers as well as an MD, and specialists in hormones and special training in esthetics like botox, laser hair removal, fillers, hydrafacial, and other treatments. They carry a full line of organic skincare products as well as vitamins and supplements. They have 13 mental health therapists with varying specialties like marriage and family therapy, drug and alcohol counseling, some Gottman trained, and some trained in trauma therapies like EMDR and ART. They have music therapist on staff as well. Remedy Health also offers NeuroStar TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), which is a non-drug treatment modality for depression.
Remedy Health has continued its community support this past year, donating money and baskets for auctions to multiple elementary schools, teams, and organizations. Last October, they hosted their first Trunk-or-Treat for the community. As part of their 10-year celebration, they are running a #donatetocelebrate campaign, asking people to bring in ’10 of anything’ to donate to the Bellevue Food Pantry.
Ecomaids of Greater Omaha is one of the newest businesses in the Bellevue community. They had their official Bellevue Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting ceremony this week at Southroads Mall. Sara McVay and her husband John started Ecomaids of Greater Omaha two months ago and are going full speed ahead. Ecomaids provides eco-friendly cleaning services including deep cleaning, move-in cleaning, move-out cleaning, and recurring cleaning. My Pediatric Dentist recently had their annual visit to local schools to provide interactive dental education lessons for students.
