Would you like to own your own restaurant in Bellevue? Over the last 8 years, Bellevue’s local dining scene has exploded and our local mom and pops are something that the city has become known for all over the greater Omaha-Metro. Many Bellevue restaurants and bakeries have been voted Best of Omaha, Best of Sarpy, and Best of Bellevue multiple times over the past 8 years and people drive from all over to come to Bellevue to see for themselves. Unfortunately, Claudia Murcia, owner of the restaurant American Heroes, has to sell due to health reasons. American Heroes has been well known for years for their soups, sandwiches, and Claudia’s famous pupusas! The restaurant is located right across from Bellevue University at 1103 Galvin Road South. The Special Restaurant celebrated 8 years in Bellevue on May 28th. Ed and Laura Scott opened The Special in 2015 and it quickly became a favorite local destination. They are located at 303 Ft Crook Road North and are open Tuesday-Saturday from 8am-2pm for breakfast and lunch. They are looking to hire a cook with previous experience.
Speaking of local favorites, Roma Italian Restaurant has been in Bellevue for 7 years as of May 27th! Albert and Gresa Gashi opened Roma in 2016 at 605 Ft Crook Road North and are considered by many in the Omaha-Metro as the best, most affordable Italian food around. Roma is open Tuesday-Sunday. Two restaurants are celebrating their 1-Year Anniversary in Bellevue as both relocated from other locations in the Omaha-Metro. Moran’s Grill moved to Bellevue last year from Papillion and hit the ground running. Their diverse, expansive menu has something to please everyone. El Arepon is known for being the only restaurant in Nebraska serving 100% authentic Venezuelan food. Owner Richard Medonza moved El Arepon into Bellevue from Omaha last June and officially opened for business on June 16, 2022. Like many local Bellevue gems, El Arepon receives rave reviews online for their unique menu offerings. El Arepon is located at 1021 West 23rd Avenue in Olde Towne – right across the street from the former Olde Towne Bakers supermarket.
