As part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, earlier today Beardmore Subaru held a back-to-school celebration for Betz Elementary School students and teachers, surprising them with a $7,500 donation and school supply kits to benefit all 262 students.

Through this donation and in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, Beardmore Subaru has adopted 15 classrooms in the school. Teachers will be given funding to purchase supplies for the school year, in addition to the donated Subaru school supply kits that include pens, pencils, markers, dry-erase markers, earbuds, wipes, and more.

Some of the Beardmore Subaru Team greet teachers and students at Betz Elementary today including owners Brian and Carey Hamilton, and Director of Operations Chris Fasbender.

Earlier today volunteers from the Beardmore Subaru team stopped by classrooms at Betz to surprise them with news of the donation and drop off the supply kits.

This is the sixth year Beardmore Subaru has partnered with Betz Elementary School and is part of their year-round commitment to support the local community including partnerships with Omaha Performing Arts, Magdelene Omaha, Habitat for Humanity, and more.

Beardmore owner Carey Hamilton said, “The Beardmore team is really excited to be able to help our teachers at Betz Elementary. Teachers are a large part of making the world go round and we appreciate their hard work and daily dedication to their students.”

As the largest corporate partner of AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru and its retailers have supported more than 470,000 students nationwide through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative since 2021. This year, Beardmore Subaru is one of more than 630 participating Subaru retailers across the country working with AdoptAClassroom.org to adopt high-need classrooms.

During the event today, Betz building principal Amber Dembowski shared her excitement, “We truly appreciate the support from Beardmore Subaru. We’re on the frontlines of meeting student needs and fully recognize that achieving great things for our students takes a village. We’re so proud to be part of this amazing community.”
