Fat Tuesday and Ash Wednesday are coming this week, which also means this Friday is the first Friday of Lent – also affectionately known as ‘Fish Fry Season’. While there are many amazing fish fries all over the Omaha-Metro, we want to encourage our readers to Support Bellevue and give these local fish fries, many with long histories and unique traditions, a try.
Many fish fry events are fundraisers for the organizations involved. Those organizations use the profits from fish fries to help support their projects, goals, and initiatives throughout the year. Featured below are several area fish fries, all within the Bellevue community. Consider giving one or more of them a try over the next several Fridays.
